Hi Everyone,
I was wondering how many of you use Facebook, Twitter, or My Space ? I am familiar wiht Facebook, but have not used My Space or Twitter. How would you use these sites? Are they very similar from each other or would you say they also have major differences? I really find it helpful how Dr. Reis and Dr. Kalustian in my other education class, have been teaching us how to these in class. For example, Dr. K, likes the idea of using twitter for social studies, and current events. Sometimes, these sites are very uneducational, but as teachers, we can also show the students how these sites can be a learning tool!
I use twitter and facebook. I liek facebook for more social interactions - looking and friends pictures, making plans, attending events, etc. I like twitter more as a "status update" telling everyone my own thoughts and what I am up to. I also like twitter a lot because you can follow real celebrities and know what they are up to as well!
ReplyDeleteI use Facebook and Twitter. I'm on Facebook a lot more, I just go on Twitter to check what's going on with different celebrities I like. I agree that Dr. K and Dr. Reis have been helping us to incorporate social networking in our classrooms. Hopefully, us future teachers will use social networking in our classrooms someday!

I only use Facebook. I have made a Twitter account went on it once or twice and didn't find it interesting so I don't use it anymore. I use Facebook to stay in touch with family and friends who live far away. I love the interaction and things you can do on facebook, especcially the games :D
